2. Information We Collect

We process two categories of data depending on how you interact with our platform:

• Account Credentials: When you register an account, we securely hash and store your Name, Email address, and Password.
• Visitor Click Analytics: When a visitor clicks a shortened link, we temporarily collect their IP address, user-agent (browser/operating system), referrer source, and location country/city (via GeoIP) to generate real-time metrics on the owner's dashboard.

3. Data Usage

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. Data collected is used solely to provide and improve our service, prevent malicious traffic, and render analytics charts.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use secure, encrypted session cookies to manage user authentication states and secure form submissions against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF).

5. Data Deletion

As a user, you have complete control over your shortened links. Deleting a link from your dashboard immediately and permanently removes the short code, original URL, and all associated click analytics records from our database.
